The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) have discontinued its relationship with the Nigerian Government’s Department of Health Planning, Research and Statistics (DPRS).

The decision was taken after an Office of the Inspector General (OIG) uncovered e vidence of systematic embezzlement, fraudulent practices and collusion by Nigerian grants recipient organisations between 2010-2014.
