Commercial transporters in Akwa Ibom State, on Wednesday, took a solidarity walk to the Government House, Uyo to declare their unwavering support for the state Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, come 2019 and beyond.
In this interview, the Honourable Commissioner for Transport and Petroleum Resources, Hon. Orman Esin, bares his mind on the free tax days, health insurance scheme for the tricycle operators, and issues bothering the Ministry of Transport and Petroleum Resources. Excerpt:

A former FBI agent, Ali Soufan, claims that Osama bin Laden's son, Hamza - since designated a global terrorist and added to the US counter-terrorism blacklist, has vowed revenge on the west for killing his father and is set to become the next leader of al-Qaeda.
Soufan, who was the FBI's lead investigator of al-Qaeda after the 9/11 terror attacks, reportedly examined documents seized from Osama's Pakistan compound when he was killed by US Navy Seals in 2011.

A female sales attendant has been confirmed dead after an SUV lost control and rammed into a shop at the Ogudu area in Lagos state this morning. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the SUV suffered brake failure. The remains of the deceased has been deposited at the Gbagada general hospital while the police has confiscated the SUV.

Mel B's estranged husband seeks visitation rights for her daughter with Eddie Murphy

Mel B's divorce case with her husband, Stephen Belanfonte is getting messier by the day. TMZ is reporting that Stephen Belanfonte wants to seek legal rights to visit Mel B's 10 year old daughter with Eddie Murphy. Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, yesterday paid a visit to the Shagari Primary Health Center in Zamfara state where a child diagnosed with Cerebrospinal Meningitis was seen being treated on the floor of the hospital. The health center lacks hospital bed.

Adewole afterwards had a meeting with the state governor, Abdulaziz Yari, over the state of health facilities in his state. Yari last week blamed the Meningitis epidemic on the high level of immorality in the country.

A hunter identified as Isah Anavberokhai of Iyakpi South Ibie Kingdom in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo state has been hailed for killing a Buffalo. The hunter shot dead the wild animal on Monday, April 10th.
